Advisory panel - Commission on a Bill of Rights

When the Deputy Prime Minister and Secretary of State for Justice established the Commission on a Bill of Rights, they announced that an advisory panel would be established to provide advice and expertise to the Commission on issues arising in relation to Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Following nominations received from the governments of Wales and Scotland, the Secretary of State for Justice appointed the following individuals to the Commission's advisory panel: Clive Lewis QC and Reverend Aled Edwards on behalf of Wales; and James Mure QC and Professor Alan Miller representing the Scottish Human Rights Commission on behalf of Scotland.
