Responsible for the Criminal Justice Group and the Office for Criminal Justice Reform as well as:
- Ministry of Justice finances and performance and efficiency programme
- better regulation
- sustainable development
- judicial diversity
- diversity and the criminal justice system
- implementation of the Corston Review (women with particular vulnerabilities in the criminal justice system).
Biography
Maria Eagle MP was appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State on 29 June 2007.
She was previously Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Northern Ireland Office, Department for Education and Skills, and Department for Work and Pensions.
