Biography
Crispin Blunt MP was appointed as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Justice on 14 May 2010.
He was elected MP for Reigate, Surrey in 1997 and previous positions include Shadow Minister for Northern Ireland, Shadow Minister for Home Affairs and Counter-Terrorism and Opposition Whip. He was educated at Wellington College, and The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where he won the Queen's Medal.
He was commissioned as an Army Officer into the 13th/18th Royal Hussars (Queen Mary's Own), resigning as Captain in 1990.
He read Politics at the University of Durham.
