A consultation seeking views on the detail of reform of the coroner system in England and Wales.
The consultation will inform the drafting of secondary legislation to be made under Part 1 of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009.
It seeks views on nine policy areas, including: the specific types of deaths which should be reported to coroners; post-mortem examinations; and the new appeals and complaints systems.
