All you need is:
- the name and date of birth of the person you are visiting
- their prisoner number.
You can choose up to 3 possible dates and times. Prison booking staff will check what's available and confirm your visit by email.
If you have made an online visit booking request and have not received a confirmation email within 3 working days, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ensure all visitors are on the Approved Visitor List.
All visitors require valid ID (passport/drivers licence/birth certificate etc).
£15 (in coins only) per adult can be taken into the visits hall.
There is wheelchair access and disabled toilets.
There are two mobile hearing loops available for those who are hard of hearing.
No items can be brought in and/or passed to a prisoner during a visit.
There is a visitors centre located outside the prison.
Smoking is not permitted in the visit areas.

Booking information: Visits must be booked at least 24 hours in advance by phoning 01483 344310, which is open from 09.00 - 12.00 & 14.00 - 15.30 Monday to Friday.
Pact Family Support Workers are available to provide emotional support to prisoners and their families, as well as practical information about issues including travel, financial assistance and prison procedures. A Playworker is available on most social visits to provide a welcoming and child friendly environment. The Play Area is equipped with a range of books and toys to suit all ages.
Pact also offer a range of relationship, parenting and family learning courses at HMP Coldingley.

Prison Voicemail service
Social contacts can exchange voicemails with prisoners through the Prison Voicemail service, which is available at this establishment. Family members or friends sign up online and are given a unique landline phone number which they can call at any time to leave messages. The prisoner dials the same number from within the prison to listen and reply. You can find more information including pricing at www.prisonvoicemail.com.
How to get there:
The prison is situated in the village of Bisley, near the town of Woking in surrey.
Bus: Take number 34 or 44 bus from Woking Station and ask to stop at the Hen and Chickens Public House. It is a 5-minute walk along Shaftesbury Road to the prison. Coldingley is about 5 miles from Woking.
Train: From London (Waterloo) take trains stopping at Woking, which takes approximately 25 minutes. A taxi stand is located at Woking station or you can take the bus (see above).
- Car: From the M3, leave at junction 3 and take the A322 towards Guildford. After 3 miles you will enter the village of BISLEY. Shaftesbury Road is on the right at the corner of the Hen and Chickens public house. From the A3, leave the A3 at Guildford and take the A322 towards Bagshot. After about 7 miles you will enter the village of Bisley, Shaftesbury Road is immediately on the left after the Hen and Chickens public house.
