Booking information

To book online, visit: www.gov.uk/prison-visits

All you need is:

  • the name and date of birth of the person you are visiting
  • their prisoner number

You can choose up to 3 possible dates and times. Prison booking staff will check what’s available and confirm your visit by email. You’ll also receive your visiting order (VO) number by email within 3 working days. You must bring this with you when you visit.

Telephone bookings

Booking Line 0208 844 5400. Lines open 08:30-16:45 Mon-Fri. Sat & Sun 08:30-11:45. All visits must be pre-booked.

Additional information

Failure to bring correct identification on the day of the visit will result in the visit being cancelled.

All valuables should be left in cars or in the lockers provided in the outside visits centre. Any suspicious or disruptive behaviour whilst in the visits centre will not be tolerated and in extreme circumstances could result in termination of the visit and visitors being banned from re-visiting for a period of time.

Gate opens daily at 13:00 (Sat morning - 08:30). Gate closes daily at 15:40 (Sat morning - 10:40). Sunday: Gate closes at 15:40.

Booking information: The legal booking line is 020 8844 5564. Lines are open Mon-Fri, 08:30 - 16:45. No bookings are taken by fax.

Additional information: Gate opens daily 08:45 and 13:00. No entry after 10:40 and 15:40.

How to get there:

  • Bus: Catch the H26 from either Feltham or Hatton Cross. Ask driver for nearest stop to the prison.
  • Train: Feltham station connects with both London Waterloo and Reading railway stations. Underground station - Hatton Cross is on the Piccadilly Line. Complete the journey by bus (see details above).
  • Car: Directions to HMP&YOI Feltham from North (M1 and M25). From M1 exit on J21a anticlockwise onto M25. Exit M25 at junction 13 .Take A30 Staines bypass. Go straight over traffic lights, continuing on A30 towards London. At next roundabout take 3rd exit into Bedfont Road. Bear left on next small roundabout. Directly after bridge over railway turn right into HMP &YOI Feltham.
  • Directions to HMP&YOI Feltham from South (M3). Leave M3 at Sunbury Cross. Take 1st left into A308 -Staines Road West. At traffic lights turn right into A244 - Chertsey Road. Go straight ahead at junction by Sawyers Arms (flats on right, field on left).Turn left at next lights, and HMP&YOI Feltham is next turning on left.
  • Directions to HMP &YOI Feltham from West (M4). Leave M4 at exit 3. Take A312 - The Parkway towards Heathrow Terminal 4. Straight over at roundabout. At roundabout take 2nd exit into Bedfont Road. Bear left on next small roundabout. Directly after bridge over railway turn right into HMP&YOI Feltham.
  • Parking is very limited. It is advisable to use public transport.
