All you need is:

- their prisoner number.
You can choose up to 3 possible dates and times. Prison booking staff will check what’s available and confirm your visit by email.
If you've made an online visit booking request and haven't received a confirmation email within 1-3 working days, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 01291 671 730 to pre book your visit.
Additional information: There is no staffed Visitor's Centre or children's play area. There are vending machines providing hot & cold drinks, as well as snacks in the visits room. There is full wheelchair access to the main visits room. Baby changing facilities available.

Additional information: Only 3 official visits are permitted at any one time. There is no facility for closed visits.
How to get there:
- The nearest rail links are Abergavenny to the North, and Newport, Cwmbran or New Inn (Pontypool) to the South. Thereafter by taxi or bus if available.
- There is a limited bus service from Newport to Usk. The service operates only once or twice a week from Abergavenny/Monmouth.
From North Monmouth/Ross on Wye/M50/M5 : Take A449 trunk road from Monmouth signposted for Newport/M4 - turning off this road after approx. 13 Miles.
From South Newport/M4/Severn Bridge: Take junction 24 off M4 motorway signposted for Monmouth and M50 north. Take A449 Monmouth/M50 and after approx. 8 miles take turning for Usk. Continue into Usk - past Fire Station on left and approx. 300 yards take 2nd left turn into Twyn Square, (if you miss this - turn left immediately opposite Three Salmons Hotel by side of Barclays Bank and continue for approx 100 yards until the give way sign and One Stop Shop Supermarket on opposite corner - follow straight on for prison). On the Twyn square take 2nd exit signposted for Llantrisant, continue on this road for approx. 300 yards, sharp left turn by One Stop Shop Supermarket , prison situated on left some 200 yards distant.
Direction to HMP\YOI Prescoed: The HMP\YOI is situated some 3.5 miles from HMP Usk - follow same directions to Usk - do not turn left but continue through town along High Street, over river bridge (River Usk), turn immediately left over river bridge, continue to Llanbadoc some 300 yards, turn right in front of Llanbadoc Church before cottage (signposted Llandegveth Reservoir/Prescoed) - take care - narrow road - continue along road for approx 2.5 miles - take left fork in road - take care - very narrow - after approx 0.5 mile - Prescoed Camp situated on right hand side. Parking within grounds at Prescoed.
From Cardiff: Follow signs for M4 and stay on M4 east (Newport/Severn Bridge) until J24 - signposted for A449 Monmouth/Ross on Wye/Hereford). This junction brings you off to the Coldra Roundabout. Follow signs for Monmouth/Usk - get into left hand filter lane for Monmouth and continue - Usk approx. 8 miles. See above for remainder of directions to Usk.Return journey: From the car park opposite the prison turn left into Maryport Street - continue for 200 yards then bear sharp right by One Stop Shop Supermarket. Follow this round into Twyn square to the top of the square. Turn right - signposted for M50 & M4. Follow this road for approx. 1 mile and take road for Newport & M4. Do not take M50 for Monmouth which is 1st turn off for M50 Approx. 8 miles to Newport - Coldra Roundabout - take 2nd turn off roundabout for M4 & Severn Bridge. Severn Bridge approx 5 miles from this junction. No fee is payable on return to England.
