Patents County court

The Patents County Court deals with intellectual property issues such as patents, copyright or trademark disputes and is situated in the Rolls Building, Fetter Lane, London. It forms part of the Chancery Division of the High Court.

Detailed information on the work of the court is set out in the Patents County Court guide. The Patents County Court also has a small claims track. All proceedings in the Patents County Court (including the small claims track) are issued at the public counter in the Rolls Building. Hearings in the Patents County Court take place in the Rolls Building but hearings on the small claims track take place in the Thomas More Building at the Royal Courts of Justice.
