Standard responses
We have developed some standard responses to assist you in responding to freedom of information requests. They cover a number of situations which might occur throughout the processing of a request and include responses on fee issues, the public interest test and consultation with third parties.
These standard responses are intended to act as a guide to the key points that should be included in correspondence. They may not be appropriate in all situations and may need to be amended to reflect the specific circumstances of the case.
