Provider Reference Groups
The aim of the Provider Reference Groups (PRGs) is to encourage regular, open and constructive dialogue with legal aid providers.
The meetings have been open to providers working in both civil and criminal legal aid. Barristers working in legal aid are also welcome to attend.
Three rounds of PRG meetings have taken place:
- November - December 2012
- February - March 2012
- July - August in 2011.
Chance for dialogue with the LSC
More than 3,000 providers have booked on to these events, which have been held across England and Wales.
The meetings have been a valuable opportunity for you, as a legal aid provider, to hear first-hand what the Legal Services Commission is doing and discuss any matters directly with senior managers.
The idea has been to help you in managing operational issues and planning for the future.
