Details of the latest statistical updates, including statistics on the reoffending of adults and juveniles, the average time from arrest to sentence for persistent young offenders, and mortgage and landlord possession statistics.
The Ministry of Justice has published the following updates:
- Reoffending of adults: 2000-2005
- Reoffending of juveniles: 2000-2005
- Average time from arrest to sentence for persistent young offenders: February 2008
- Mortgage and landlord possession statistics: first quarter 2008
The statistics on the reoffending of adults and juveniles make use of improved methods to measure reoffending.
These statistics are released by the Ministry of Justice and produced in accordance with arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority.
