The Ministry of Justice’s business plan for the next spending review period, 2011-2015
In-line with previous commitments made by government the 4-year business plan (published last year) has now undergone its first annual refresh.
This refreshed document includes a remodelled transparency section taking account of responses received to the consultation on our information strategy and indicators, run earlier this year.
The plan also sets out the coalition government’s agenda for Justice for 2015, and the Ministry of Justice’s programme of reform to create “a justice system that will punish the guilty, protect our liberties and the independence of the judiciary and introduce a revolution in the rehabilitation of offenders.”
More information on our reform programme can be found on our Transforming Justice page.
The table sets out the Ministry of Justice’s funding for the Spending Review 2010 period, as per the ‘Planned Departmental Expenditure 2011/2012’ diagram on slide 24 of the 2011-2015 business plan.
These Measurement Templates provide more detail on the key measures within the Transparency section of the Business plan.
