Details

The Ministry of Justice is currently engaged in an ambitious programme to transform the justice system which will lead to it being more effective, less costly and more responsive to the public.

Many of these reforms will make it easier for business to operate, and increase flexibility. These initiatives form our contribution to the Prime Minister’s call to move on from cutting public spending, to concentrate on reducing bureaucracy and barriers to business.

This report summarises some of these key reforms and also describes progress against the Action Plan for Growth in the Legal Services Sector which was published last May.
