This consultation invited comments on the introduction of compulsory Professional Indemnity insurance for those authorised to provide regulated claims management services under the Compensation Act 2006. Part one of the Summary of Responses and a report on professional indemnity insurance were published on 1 August 2007.  Part two of the Conclusions paper was published on 19 November 2007.

Report on professional indemnity insurance

An assessment of the market for professional indemnity insurance for claims management businesses authorised under the Compensation Act 2006.  We commissioned Willis, a risk management and insurance intermediary, to complete this independent assessment and report.   It was published on 1 August 2007.
