The report of the Senior Salaries Review Body (SSRB), published on 1 March 2007, recommended an increase averaging 2.4% for judicial salaries (though the recommendation for office holders in Group 6.2 was a little lower than the average, at around 2%). The increases proposed by the review body are to be paid in two stages. This first instalment, which will be 1.5% in every case, will be paid with effect from 1 April 2007, and the balance of the recommended amount will be paid from 1 November 2007.
The revised rates of remuneration arising from this are set out in the document below. There are no changes in the composition of the groups. The fees for fee paid judiciary and tribunal appointment fees are also included.
