Based on Community Justice principles, the North Liverpool Community Justice Centre (NLCJC), brings together a range of criminal justice agencies as a one-stop-shop for tackling offending in the local area.

Adding to the findings from previous evaluations of the NLCJC, this evaluation assessed the impact the court had on re-offending and the efficiency of court processes. Though the NLCJC had no impact on re-offending rates, breach rates among offenders receiving court orders there were higher than elsewhere.

The efficiency findings were mixed, providing evidence of both positive and negative performance at the court.
