This is the Government's response to the Constitutional Affairs Select Committee's (CASC) report of 24 June 2007, 'Freedom of Information: Government's proposals for reform'.
The report examines the Government's proposals for reform of the charging regime relating to freedom of information (FOI) requests. It also comments on funding for the Information Commissioner.
The response, published on 25 October 2007 gives the Government's views on the recommendations put forward.
