General comments

Index - This set of amendments contains a CPR index which will be revised on a quarterly basis. We are making it available in PDF and Word 6 formats only; a special CPR search engine is to be installed in mid-April for HTML users.

Next Amendments - The 3rd set of amendments & additions will be ready during the week starting 19 April.

Forms - All new CPR forms which need to be completed by the parties will be available on the Court Service website on 12 April. The forms will be interactive, ie they may be completed on screen, printed off and sent to the courts. There will be 75 forms and 26 information leaflets. Forms produced by courts will only be available from courts.

Word 6 - Several comments have been received about the fact that Word 7 files cannot be read by those of you who have Word 6. Therefore, to cater for both Word 7 and Word 6 users, we are replacing all Word 7 files with Word 6 files from this set of amendments & additions onwards.

Feedback - We appreciate the feedback we're getting. We have provided a special e-mail address for questions about the contents of the rules. However, the "comment" e-mail address will be retained for anything you may have to say regarding the website itself.

User recommendation - Refresh!

To ensure that you are viewing the latest version of a rule, practice direction, etc. we strongly recommend that each time you open a file, you should refresh it.

This refreshing is especially important where you bookmark pages, but also it will overwrite and update a file that may have been "cached" earlier by your computer.
