Revenge Porn: your questions answered

We’ve just brought in a new criminal offence to tackle revenge porn which will see those found guilty facing up to 2 years in prison.

We know that you’ll have lots of questions, like…

  • What is revenge porn?
  • How’s it committed?
  • How does revenge porn affect victims?
  • I’m a victim, what do I do next?

To help answer these questions and any more you may have, we’ll be holding a 30 minute webchat on Monday, 2 March 2015 @7pm where we’ll be joined by panelists:

Garry Shewan – Assistant Chief Constable, Greater Manchester Police and National Policing Lead for Stalking and Harassment
Folami Prehaye – Victim of revenge porn and founder of Victims of Internet Crime (opens in a new tab)
Laura HigginsRevenge Porn Helpline (opens in a new tab) and UK Safer Internet Centre (opens in a new tab)

You can submit your questions/comments now, before Monday 2 March, using the window below, or you can submit them via:

We look forward to chatting with you on 2 March 2015. Together we can say No To Revenge Porn.
