The Family Procedure (Amendment) (No.3) Rules 2012 come into force on 30 September 2012

Introduction

Part 2 Application and Interpretation of the Rules

Amendments are made to the meaning in the Rules of‘RSC’ and ‘CCR’ so that where the Rules apply RSC Order 52 and CCR 29 those rules apply as they appeared in Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 to the Civil Procedure Rules on 30 September 2012.

Part 12 Proceedings Relating to Children except Parental Order Proceedings and Proceedings for Applications in Adoption, Placement and Related Proceedings

Amendments are made to reflect the fact that there are separate Central Authorities for England and for Wales for the purposes of the Hague Convention on Jurisdiction, Applicable Law, Recognition, Enforcement and Co-Operation in Respect of Parental Responsibility and Measures for the Protection of Children, ‘the 1996 Hague Convention’.
